American Heritage Tour

Over spring break a group of kids went on the American heritage tour. They went to Washington D.C., Philadelphia, Gettysburg, and New York City. They went and saw a lot of different museums and monuments. A few that really stood out to them were the Holocaust Museum, Arlington Cemetery, and the Broadway show. For the Broadway show they went and saw Aladdin. Seeing the statue of liberty was amazing but getting to walk through Ellis Island where all of the immigrants walked was definitely memorable. The trip was super fun but everybody was pretty happy to be home on Saturday night. Everyone that went is super happy they went and they definitely encourage you to go on the trip if you get the opportunity. They had a great time and want to thank Mrs. Bonawitz for putting it on and taking time to make it a memorable trip.
